On July 1, over 7000 dockworkers in BC walked off the job after a resounding 99.2% strike vote. But if the federal government wants to break the strike, we have to start showing our solidarity with dockworkers right now.
Since mid-April, Hilton Metrotown staff in Burnaby have been locked out following the termination of 97 workers a year into the pandemic. The fight at the Hilton is part of a broader attack by employers on hotel workers across BC.
