Winning Paid Sick Days in BC

The BC NDP has promised to introduce permanent paid sick days starting on January 1, 2022. No specific number has been introduced. Join members of Spring, The Worker Solidarity Network, frontline healthcare workers, and more, for a discussion on how we win paid sick days that are universal, adequate, employer- paid, and accessible.

Though this event features speakers and participants from across so-called BC, it is important to center the fact that all of this territory today remains unceded and stolen Indigenous land. In all of our work and all of our efforts, we fight against colonialism, racism, bigotry, and all forms of oppression. We do not recognize this in the abstract. We learn through struggle and through the work of movements and organizations that are confronting the brutality of capitalism, racism, and settler-colonialism across Turtle Island and around the world.
