With rising living costs, stagnant wages, intense heatwaves, and the ongoing pandemic, there is so much understandable concern at the intersection of health and work.
Do you face any of these issues? Join us at 7pm on August 19th to talk about our personal experiences with the lack of adequate paid sick days, neglect of COVID/Long COVID protections, the effects of rising temperatures on working conditions, and other health and safety concerns. Everyone is also welcome to come earlier at 6pm where we will set up a table and talk with people passing through the park about their experiences in the workplace. No worries if you’ve never done such a thing before—you can learn by watching other organizers do it first!
Date: Monday, August 19th
