Toronto Spring meeting: “Socialism from Below: An introduction to the politics of the Spring Socialist Network”

Come to Spring’s Toronto branch meeting, “Socialism from Below: An introduction to the politics of the Spring Socialist Network,” taking place on Friday, January 23rd, 6pm at 720 Spadina Ave (#221)!

In a time when imagining socialism feels increasingly difficult, the tradition of socialism from below (where real change is driven by collective struggle, not top-down promises from leaders and states) grows ever more important. This discussion will explore the two souls of socialism: “from above” versus “from below” and how this helps guide our day-to-day organizing from movements to socialist organization.

Doors open at 5:30pm. The meeting begins at 6:00pm. Light refreshments provided. Please wear a mask (available at the door).
