Spring Educational Series: What is Revolutionary Socialism?

May 31 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT

Join Spring for a talk and discussion, “What is Revolutionary Socialism?” taking place on Sunday, May 31 over Zoom at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 2pm AT.

Many movements, parties, and people throughout history have called themselves socialist. Socialism has come to be identified in the popular imagination with so many things; social democratic parties, heroic men in the hills with rifles, protest movements, unions, welfare states, and even dictatorships. Various forms of “socialism from above” may appear to offer shortcuts, but have always ended up replicating the features of capitalism.

This talk will make the case for revolutionary socialism – the self-mobilization of masses of ordinary working people – as a world worth fighting for and the best means of winning it.

This talk is the first in Spring’s new educational series. More talks will be coming soon!
