Red October: A Conference of Socialist Ideas in Action

October 13 - October 15

The world is burning, public services are being gutted, the far-right is emboldened and working-class people are struggling to make ends meet. Now more than ever, we need to join together and strategize to build working class unity and power. We need to fight for a socialist alternative.

Spring is proud to announce “Red October: A Conference of Socialist Ideas in Action,” our first ever conference taking place October 13-15 at the Toronto Metropolitan University Student Centre in downtown Toronto (55 Gould Street).

The conference will include a dozen sessions on topics such as building a fighting labour movement, the relationship between the state and revolution, why we organize the working class, socialism and elections, and more. Be sure to catch Saturday night’s “Nuit Rouge,” a cabaret-style social event featuring political performances, music, and art! And on Sunday we will be hosting a meeting for labour activists to strategize about building a fighting labour movement.

All are welcome! Full details and program forthcoming. Register today by clicking here.
