Mississauga Spring meeting: “What can we learn from the B.C. teachers’ illegal strike of 2005?”

Join Spring’s Mississauga organizing meeting on Friday, June 5, 6pm at the Peel Educators’ Centre at 6435 Edwards Blvd!
Our main discussion will focus on lessons from the B.C. teachers’ illegal strike of 2005 as Ontario’s teachers head towards a potential strike of their own. We are pleased to welcome a guest speaker for this discussion, Andy Hanson, author of “Class Action: How Ontario’s Elementary Teachers Became a Political Force.”
This meeting is open to all Spring members in the GTA and anyone who is interested in getting involved with Spring.
Doors will be open for light refreshments at 5:30pm and the meeting starts at 6:00pm.
