From solidarity to strike: How can we help workers win? A strategy discussion hosted by the Spring Labour Caucus.
In the midst of a cost of living crisis, workers are taking action to demand better. Governments and bosses across the country are looking to make workers pay for the crisis.
Education workers are on strike in Nova Scotia; faculty are taking strike votes in Ontario; and Ontario education workers and transit workers could be on strike by the first week of November. What activists do now to build solidarity within and across these struggles could help ensure that workers win. Join this strategy discussion about how to build a fighting labour movement from below, with a focus on rank-and-file activity, and plan concrete actions for the days and weeks ahead.
This meeting is open to all workers (union and non-union) who are interested in building solidarity.
